Owner

Steve Daddario started his roofing career when he was 22 years old in 1977. After five years on the roof full time, he got his contractor’s license in 1982. He started his first roofing company with the help of his lovely wife, Dawn. He would install the roofs by himself, and Dawn did the books. Looking back after 42 years, he knows that he had found the perfect career. From working on the roof to managing a company with 23 employees, it has been challenging and incredibly fulfilling to create a special company. He and Dawn are also very excited to have their son Tony in training to eventually take over and manage the business.

Away from the office, Steve stays busy doing what he enjoys. “I love to surf, fly fishing is a passion and I enjoy playing bass guitar. Dawn and I love spending time with our three adult children and our three grandchildren. My faith is the most important thing in my life, and I really enjoy playing on the worship team at church. Life is good and I’m grateful for every day.”

Owner

Since it's inception in 1981, Dawn has handled all office responsibilities (our lovely office staff does much of the work now). As we grew and our office staff increased, Dawn became director of HR, office manager, and the head of accounting, which she thoroughly enjoys. 

“I love to travel, study family history, and solve crosswords. I've had the chance to visit many european countries - including Poland, where my paternal ancestors were from. I delight in contemplating the next country Steve and I will visit!”

Manager

After working on the ambulance and fire engine as a paramedic for the last 20 years, Tony Daddario is joining the family business. He is really looking forward to serving our customers in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, and Monterey Counties and is excited to carry on the family tradition of quality, courtesy, and integrity.

Sr. Production Manager

Edgar provides roof inspections and estimates and has been working for Daddario Roofing for over 37 years. In his free time, he enjoys watching football, the 49ers in particular. He also roots for the Giants and the Warriors. He has been happily married for 29 years.

Sr. Project Manager

Humberto has been working for Daddario Roofing for 24 years. Along with project management, he provides roof inspections and estimates. He enjoys watching soccer and movies.

Sr. Repairman and Estimator

Juan has been working for Daddario Roofing for 23 years. He helps with roof inspections and completes roof repairs and re-roofs. He enjoys going hiking and spending time with his family. His co-workers say: “He is one of our best employees and makes everyone better.”

Company Estimator

Joe estimates roofs for the company. “My wife and I like to spend time with our children and grandchildren and volunteer as much as possible for local charity organizations. I enjoy the hobby of audio engineering and enjoy setting up and running remote location PA sound systems for mid-to-large groups/events.”
